Despite Caleb Lomu's arrival, protecting Drake Maye is the top priority, and the offensive line needs another future starting tackle. The interior defensive line has Christian Barmore as a pillar but relies heavily on undrafted players like Travis Shaw for rotation. They continue to seek a leader at linebacker, bringing in several rookies like Namdi Obiazor and Xavier Holmes to see if anyone solidifies the role. In the secondary, future planning and an injection of talent are needed.
