Long-limbed boundary corner who lived on the outside third at East Carolina and built his tape on press-bail reps. He is at his best with hands on at the line, using length to stall the release and then riding the route stem from a trail position rather than flipping to chase. Straight-line speed shows up when he opens; the mechanics are still catch-up rather than clean.
Ball production came from vision more than technique: in off coverage he reads the quarterback, drives late and gets a hand through the window. He tackles willingly on the perimeter and fits the run without stalling. The separator is the frame-plus-burst combination — few corners this tall move this easily — and it carried a Group of Five profile onto Day 2.

Revel is a developmental press corner with starter length and rare closing burst for his build, a JUCO transfer who arrived at East Carolina raw and improved every month he played. His identity is disruption at the catch point rather than shadow coverage, and everything about him reads as a projection based on traits rather than a finished technician.
The production curve tells the story. As a junior he broke out with 54 tackles, 3.5 for loss and 13 pass breakups, second in the American and top ten nationally. He opened his senior year with two interceptions and a pick-six in three games before tearing his ACL in September, ending the season and any chance to test. He did not run at the Combine, measuring in at 6-2 and 194 pounds and answering medical questions instead of stopwatch questions.
Boards were split, not on the player but on the calendar. Several evaluators had him as a top-40 talent and one of the five best corners in the class; the knee pushed him into the range where teams could bank a redshirt-style rookie year. Dallas took that bet at 76, buying first-round traits at a Day 2 price and accepting that the return would not come until the following autumn.

Dallas never got the slow ramp it planned. Revel opened his rookie year on the non-football injury list in July, moved to injured reserve in October and was activated on November 11, debuting on Monday night in Las Vegas after 429 days without a football game. He played 17 snaps that night on a pitch count, then was pushed straight into outside starting work as the Cowboys' corner room thinned out. He finished 2025 with seven games, five starts, 334 defensive snaps, 35 total tackles, one tackle for loss and three pass breakups.
The coverage numbers were rough and honest: 21 receptions allowed on 31 targets for 295 yards, two touchdowns, a passer rating against near 120 and five penalties, with PFF grading him 122nd of 123 qualifying corners. None of that is a verdict. He was a year removed from surgery, in a knee brace, learning NFL splits on the fly on a defense with no margin to protect him. The traits that made him a first-round talent were still visible in the jam and in the recovery burst; the question after one season is whether the flip and the discipline catch up once he gets a real offseason.
