He plays with quick, choppy footwork off the snap and rarely opens his gate early, which lets him carry vertical routes without grabbing.
The separator is long speed — he can run with anyone on a go ball and recovers when he does lose the release. Against the run he triggers downhill and takes on blocks rather than avoiding them, though the frame limits how he finishes. Robinson is a small-school ascension story who answered the level-of-competition question in one season. Four years as a Furman starter produced 103 tackles, five interceptions and 21 passes defensed across 42 games, and the transfer to Tulane put him against AAC receivers without changing anything about how he plays.
His 2024 tape is the argument: 14 games, 34 tackles, two interceptions — one returned for a score — six pass breakups and a forced fumble, with charting that had him allowing under a 47 percent completion rate and one touchdown all year. He is at his best in press with safety help behind him, staying phased on stems and playing the pocket late. The flags are physical rather than technical: a slight frame that loses leverage against bigger bodies, tackling that relies more on effort than mass, and change-of-direction testing that lagged badly behind his speed.
The board had him as a Day 3 developmental corner with special teams value, and Green Bay took him one pick into the seventh round after a pre-draft visit. At that cost it is the right call: you are buying speed, ball skills and a track record of starting, and letting the body catch up.

Green Bay kept him on the roster only briefly before waiving and re-signing him to the practice squad, where he spent the first seven weeks of 2025. The Packers elevated him for Weeks 1 and 2 without giving him a snap. His actual audition had come in August: 97 defensive snaps across three preseason games with eight tackles, no misses, and one catch allowed on two targets over 56 coverage snaps. Tennessee noticed. When the Titans traded Roger McCreary and needed bodies, they signed Robinson off Green Bay's practice squad in late October and he stayed on the active roster the rest of the way.
He finished the year with 10 games, 14 tackles and a pass breakup, closing with a seven-tackle afternoon at Jacksonville in the finale and a PFF defensive grade of 70.6 that outpaced the draft slot. It is one season and a bad team, so nothing is settled. But the Packers found a real player in the 237th slot and then let a division-starved roster take him — the rare seventh-rounder whose small-school profile understated him rather than the reverse.
