Three-year starting left tackle in William & Mary's run-heavy, zone-based offense who wins with movement rather than mass. He is a fluid mover with the burst and timing to cut off the backside, work combinations and erase linebackers at the second level, and he plays long — extending on time to keep rushers at his fingertips.
The second trait is temperament: he strains, drives and finishes with a mean streak, and he recovers with real body control when beaten early. Pass protection is further along than the run game against size: the sand and mass are middling, and jerky footwork in his sets can be manipulated by stutters. The athletic ceiling is the signature — a wrestler's balance on a 6'5" frame with 34¾-inch arms.
Outside/wide zone running game with quick-game and play-action passing that lets tackles set on the move
Year 1: swing tackle and jumbo package blocker who can cover either edge for a few games. Ceiling: multi-year starting tackle in a zone offense once he adds functional mass and cleans up his set footwork.
A gap/power team that runs duo and counter and asks its tackles to displace 300-pound ends at the point, or a drop-back offense with deep, isolated seven-step sets where his anchor gets tested every snap.

Grant is a projection built on movement skills and belief. He came to football late, switching from wrestling as a high school junior in Portsmouth, added roughly 60 pounds in Williamsburg without losing his feet, and became the FCS's most decorated lineman. Five starts as a redshirt freshman became 41 career starts at left tackle, 36 of them consecutive, and he stayed at William & Mary instead of taking the portal money that was there for him.
The production was absurd for the level. He allowed zero sacks in 2022, one on 334 pass-blocking snaps in 2023 while grading above 90 percent in seven games with 40 pancakes, and one more as a senior — two sacks total across his final three seasons. The Tribe finished third, 13th and fourth nationally in rushing behind him. He was a consensus first-team FCS All-American, three-time first-team All-CAA, a Payton Award finalist and the first player nationally to accept a Senior Bowl invite, where he held up against Power Four edges.
That Senior Bowl week is what settled the grade. Boards liked the traits and worried about the mass and the level jump, with most projecting a developmental swing tackle or a move to guard. Las Vegas, needing tackle depth behind Kolton Miller and DJ Glaze, spent the last pick of the third round on the athlete.

Las Vegas treated him exactly like a developmental pick. Grant was active for nine games as a rookie in 2025 as the swing tackle behind Kolton Miller and DJ Glaze, logging just 59 offensive snaps — 48 at left tackle and 11 as a jumbo tight end — plus his first NFL start in the Week 18 upset of Kansas City. The sample is tiny, but it was clean: one pressure allowed, zero sacks, zero penalties, and a PFF pass-blocking grade north of 77 on those snaps. Nothing about the small-school jump broke him in the reps he got.
Entering 2026 he is penciled in as the primary backup to Glaze at right tackle rather than a starter, which is roughly where the pre-draft grade said he would be. The honest read is that the pick still has to prove itself: he was not rushed onto the field, the mass questions have not been tested at volume, and one Week 18 start against a Chiefs team with nothing to play for is not evidence. What is encouraging is that the traits that got him drafted — the feet, the length, the strain — showed up immediately when he did play.
