Montana State· 6'4"· 243 lb· 4.42s 40
Andersen projects best in a modern 4-3 defense that prioritizes athletic linebackers capable of covering ground sideline-to-sideline and in pass coverage.
Year 1 could see Andersen contribute immediately on special teams and as a rotational coverage linebacker, with a ceiling as a three-down starting Will or Mike.
He would be a poor fit in a traditional 3-4 two-gap defense where his primary responsibility would be shedding blocks inside, as this does not leverage his athleticism effectively.
Andersen's exceptional athleticism and speed make him a valuable asset for defenses looking to counter modern spread offenses through coverage and pursuit.
Selected #58 overall in Round 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft by Atlanta Falcons out of Montana State.
