Goedeke projects as a tough, physical road grader who can excel in a run-heavy, gap/duo power run blocking scheme. He can also fit a vertical-set pass blocking scheme, but he has the strength and anchor to succeed in other blocking scheme types too.
Goedeke can be an early starter at right tackle or guard for a run-heavy team, with the ceiling to develop into a long-term anchor on the right side of the offensive line.
Goedeke's value would diminish in a pure outside zone scheme that relies heavily on athletic, fluid movers who can consistently reach and cut off defenders in space.
Goedeke's aggressive, physical play style makes him a great fit for teams that prioritize a dominant ground game and powerful interior blocking.
