Baun is a versatile player best suited for a modern defensive scheme that prioritizes athletic linebackers capable of playing multiple roles and rushing the passer.
He can contribute immediately as a situational pass rusher and special teams contributor, with the long-term ceiling of a starting weakside linebacker who occasionally rushes the passer.
