Alabama· 6'5"· 262 lb
Lewis is a high-upside edge rusher whose talents are best utilized in an attacking one-gap 3-4 defense or wide-9 attacking 4-3 front that prioritizes speed and penetration.
He can contribute immediately as a sub-package pass rusher, with the ceiling to develop into a Pro Bowl-caliber every-down starter.
His lack of ideal bulk and power makes him a poor fit for a two-gap 3-4 system where he would be asked to consistently hold the point of attack.
Lewis offers an exciting combination of length, athleticism, and pass-rush moves, but he needs to develop more consistency and refine his technique against the run to reach his full potential.
Selected #84 overall in Round 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft by Los Angeles Rams out of Alabama.
Relative Athletic Score (Kent Lee Platte) benchmarks combine/pro-day numbers against every measured prospect at the position since 1987. 10.00 is elite; 5.00 is average.
