Logan Wilson projects best in a 4-3 Cover 3 defense that uses a WILL linebacker to cover and run sideline-to-sideline.
Wilson should immediately compete for a starting WILL role and could eventually develop into a Pro Bowl level impact player and defensive leader.
He would be a poor fit as an off-ball linebacker in an odd-front two-gap system, as his play strength is only average against interior offensive linemen.
Wilson is a high-IQ, athletic linebacker who excels in coverage and as a tackler, but he is not an exceptional athlete and could be exposed in the run game against power schemes.
Selected #65 overall in Round 3 of the 2020 NFL Draft by Cincinnati Bengals out of Wyoming.
Relative Athletic Score (Kent Lee Platte) benchmarks combine/pro-day numbers against every measured prospect at the position since 1987. 10.00 is elite; 5.00 is average.
