Old Dominion· 6'3"· 253 lb· 4.78s 40
He's a good fit for a one-gap 3-4 penetrating front as a situational pass rusher who can develop into a starting force.
Rotational pass rusher in year one, with the potential to develop into a starting 3-4 OLB by year two or three.
Ximines would be a poor fit for a two-gap 3-4 system as he lacks the functional strength and mass to consistently hold his ground and shed blocks.
Ximines's scheme fit is highly dependent on his team's defensive front and his ability to refine his pass-rush arsenal and improve his run defense.
Selected #95 overall in Round 3 of the 2019 NFL Draft by New York Giants out of Old Dominion.
