Jacobs would fit best in a gap/duo power run scheme that prioritizes a physical, downhill running back who can break tackles.
As a Year 1 starter, Jacobs could immediately be the focal point of a team's running game and could develop into a top-tier bell-cow back with significant volume.
A modern pass-heavy Air Raid or spread RPO system that features smaller, quicker backs prioritizing receiving and outside runs would diminish his value.
Jacobs's blend of power, tackle-breaking ability, and receiving upside makes him a versatile back, but he truly shines when given a heavy workload in a run-first offense.
Selected #24 overall in Round 1 of the 2019 NFL Draft by Oakland Raiders out of Alabama.
