Rashaan Evans projects best in a versatile, attacking 3-4 defense that prioritizes athletic linebackers capable of playing multiple roles.
Initially a rotational inside linebacker and special teams contributor, with the ceiling to develop into a Pro Bowl caliber three-down starter who can blitz, cover, and stop the run.
He would be a poor fit in a traditional 4-3 Cover 2 scheme where his versatility would be underutilized and his pass rush opportunities limited.
Evans' athleticism and strength allow him to be a disruptive force when allowed to play downhill and attack gaps.
