Milano.

Boston Col.· 6'0"· 223 lb· 4.67s 40
Matt Milano's best fit is in a 4-3 Cover-3 scheme where his speed and coverage abilities can be maximized, allowing him to play in space and react to plays.
Year 1 could see him as a rotational nickel or dime linebacker, with his ceiling as a starting weakside (Will) linebacker.
He would be a poor fit in a traditional 3-4 two-gap defense, where he would be asked to consistently take on and shed blocks from interior linemen.
Milano's athleticism and coverage skills make him a valuable asset for modern defenses, but his size limits his effectiveness in run-heavy, downhill schemes.
Relative Athletic Score (Kent Lee Platte) benchmarks combine/pro-day numbers against every measured prospect at the position since 1987. 10.00 is elite; 5.00 is average.
