Collins projects best in an attacking one-gap 4-3 penetrating front, leveraging his explosiveness and quickness at the snap to disrupt backfields.
As an immediate rotational 3-technique, Collins has the upside to develop into a consistent starter in a one-gap scheme.
He would struggle in a two-gap 3-4 front due to his smaller stature and lack of ideal play strength to consistently anchor and hold the point of attack.
Collins' quickness and pass-rushing upside are his main selling points, making him a valuable piece in a defensive line rotation where he can hunt for TFLs and sacks.
