Ameer Abdullah is a decisive back with the feet and vision to thrive in inside zone and outside zone schemes alike, showing a good blend of change-of-direction ability and burst once he makes his read.
Abdullah can immediately contribute as a rotational back in a committee and eventually develop into a workhorse with three-down capabilities.
He would be a poor fit for a power-gap scheme requiring him to consistently break arm tackles or churn out extra yardage through direct contact.
