This receiver is best suited for an Air Raid or spread RPO offense that leverages his downfield ability and benefits from his YAC potential on quick throws.
Year 1 could see him as a rotational deep threat, with a ceiling to develop into a reliable downfield target capable of stretching defenses.
He would be a poor fit for a run-heavy, pro-style offense that asks its receivers to consistently win contested catches or block extensively.
Williams offers vertical upside in a spread system but lacks the physicality for schemes demanding a more diverse skill set from their outside receivers.
Selected #74 overall in Round 3 of the 2013 NFL Draft by Dallas Cowboys out of Baylor.
