Justin Pugh projects as a solid, dependable lineman in a conventional man/gap blocking scheme that prioritizes strength and technique.
As a Year 1 starter, Pugh projects as a competent tackle who will develop into a long-term starter at either tackle or guard.
His lack of elite athleticism makes him a poor fit for an outside-zone heavy run scheme.
Pugh’s versatility to play multiple positions on the offensive line provides a great deal of scheme flexibility for any team.
Selected #19 overall in Round 1 of the 2013 NFL Draft by New York Giants out of Syracuse.
Relative Athletic Score (Kent Lee Platte) benchmarks combine/pro-day numbers against every measured prospect at the position since 1987. 10.00 is elite; 5.00 is average.
