The Cardinals have often favored spread-out, vertical attacking offenses that thrive on big plays and athletic pass-catchers.
Floyd could immediately contribute as a boundary receiver in '12, providing a big-bodied target with strong hands and enough speed to stretch the field, with the ceiling to become a high-volume Pro Bowl receiver.
Floyd's value would be diminished in a run-heavy, ball-control West Coast offense that prioritizes intermediate route running and YAC over vertical threats.
His size, speed, and ball skills make him an ideal fit for an offense looking to add a dominant outside presence capable of winning contested catches and gaining yards after the catch.
Selected #13 overall in Round 1 of the 2012 NFL Draft by Arizona Cardinals out of Notre Dame.
