Bruce Carter is a great fit for a 4-3 Cover 2/Cover 3 defense, excelling as a run-and-chase linebacker.
He can immediately contribute as a nickel or dime package coverage linebacker while developing into a starting weak-side linebacker.
A two-gap 3-4 scheme would diminish his value due to his size and play style, as he's not built to consistently shed blocks at the point of attack.
